Improving "Change to another version" for massive changes

Hello. I would like to request a utility that I believe will be very useful for performing bulk version changes of an application. When there is a change or improvement in an application and there are several active tasks of it, it is necessary to go one by one, selecting it and entering its details to make the version change. If a version change button could be added to the active tasks selection sheet, allowing the version to be changed for a group of tasks of the same application, it would be very useful. Additionally, adding a column with the version number of the active task and the action to change the version as part of the context menu with the right-click would be very helpful.

I hope you can consider it in possible improvements. Thank you.

Hi @mauro.roa, Thanks for your post. Currently, version change is based on a specific workflow instance, not an active task. To perform bulk version changes of workflow instance, you can go to the Published workflows list, can find a published workflow.

Then, from the detail page, go to workflow instances tab. From here, you can find all the workflow instances of the latest version.

You can select multiple instances from the list and change the versions.

You can choose different versions from the top dropdown list to see and make changes for instances under each version.

Please let me know if this can be an alternative solution.

Thanks, Renger. I was unaware of this feature to make massive changes; it was helpful. However, I would still like to have the version number shown in the Active Tasks module. It could be useful to identify active tasks running on the wrong version and change the version for all related tasks massively using the Published Workflows module. If it is possible, I will be happy. Thanks again.

@mauro.roa Sure, I will share this requirement to the product team.
