Scheduled maintenance - August 31, 2024 - Database service upgrade

Dear Yeeflow Users,

We would like to inform you about an upcoming scheduled maintenance that will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024 during the times listed below.

August 31, 2024 All 10:00 (SGT) / 02:00 (UTC) 11:00 (SGT) / 03:00 (UTC)

Customers Affected:
All customers across All Pods. The experience consists of a brief service disruption during the time within the 1 hour maintenance window.

Affected products: Yeeflow platform, including all modules and features.

Expected behavior:

During the maintenance window

  • The system may be unavailable or unstable to access during the maintenance window.
  • Users may experience intermittent access issues or downtime.

After the maintenance window

  • All functionalities will be restored to normal.

Why we’re doing this:

  • We will be migrating our Azure database service to a new, more advanced service type. This migration is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance system stability and reduce the likelihood of unscheduled downtime.
  • This upgrade will allow us to receive advanced notifications from Microsoft for any future maintenance, enabling us to schedule these events more conveniently and avoid unexpected disruptions.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible for us to know which database service did we moved to?

Hi @sen, Thanks for your question! We have moved to Azure Flexible Server. This service offers us enhanced flexibility, high availability, and automated maintenance, ensuring our database operations are smooth and efficient.
