# Failed to set a custom-domain for service-portal

Hi all,

Here we’re trying to set a custom-domain for my service-portal app.

We’ve already set the CNAME and prepared certificate key pair as instructed.

However, an error tooltip shown, that failed to certificate the domain.

I cant different which step the error occurs, and I have checked both of the CNAME setting and key pair are correct.

Could anyone figure it out ?

Hi John,  
I have forwarded the relevant issues to the product team and will get back to you shortly. Can you provide your merchant ID? The merchant ID can be viewed in the system settings(Account setup=\>Account profile=\>Account ID).
