# DatatList Switch type field have number limit?

Hi,  
Im trying to create a DataList.  
When I try to create the 51st switch field, it failed. Is there a number limit for type switch? Cause TextField can successfully create, Switch can’t.

Is there any reason why can’t create over 50 switch fields on DataList? Any other work-around?

Hi Steve,

Yes, there’s a physical limitation on database that only 50 switch fields allowed. You may consider to use text field.
